It has been a week since my last entry so I figure I should put something here, seeing as I dont really do social networking that often this is my link to the rest of you and proves I havent droped off the face of the earth. Or goine into the centre of the earth where dinosaurs are inexplicably alive as are humans at the same time. then I find out the movie i watched was just a tv movie released at the exact same time as the new movie. So when i say journey to the center of the earth is boring its not incredibly accurate. there are like 5 of them released in the lats 5 years its crazy. Why do people love that story so much?
Well that went off on a tangent.
There has not been much going on in the worl of me, uni goes back tomorrow though for me more accurately on tuesday. I am both looking forward to it and not looking forward to it. So it cancels each other out and im indifferent.
My days have mostly been playing games or watching movies. Today was a mega combination of the two. see theres this 'game' on the wiiware. Thats downloadble games to all you non wii folk. I say 'game' as its more like a crappy screensaver, what i use it for is to store pokemon, and even then i dont need it for that either. No when i have deposited 1000 pokemon into the ranch I will unlock a totally legitimate mew. that my friends is worth the $20 alone. It takes a while for the game to even let you deposit 1000 pokemon. You literally have to wait days to unlock the full capacity. Reached by reaching the limit of the current day. First it was 20, then 50, then 100, then 250, then 500 then 1000. as you can see thats 6 days. Bla. Pokemon diamond can hold a little over 500 pokemon max. I had most of that space filled. So you can see my frustration when I had 500 pokemon to deposit and only 20 pokmon were allowed access. But patience paid off and now im let with the task of aquiring 500 more pokemon. I chose to breed certain favourites of mine, 30 each until it drove me insane. My total pokemon count is now 750. Yeah thats right i spent 8 hours today breeding 250 pokemon. Dear god.
Of course thats not all I was doing, as that only takes a fraction of my attention. See sarah and aaron got out movies yesterday. Not from my store. im not sure if I should be offended by that. I can get them free movies, work is not that far away, plus there are more food places nearby. yet they decide to go to a video store and pay for dvds? The mind baffles. Am i meant to be angry about this? Insulted? Would that be considered over reacting? Currently Im choosing to ignore it. It doesnt bother me as far as they are concerned. Its just really retarded. but they have shitty taste in movies anyway. which I later learn were just movies picked at random cause there arent enough dvds of stand up comicd or 'actual comedy' in their words. sigh. So yeah these movies are crap. At least when I get shitty movies its because I have nothing to go on, no pictures just a title.
The first movie was about an australian boyband who reunite after 15 or so years and realise they can reclaim the charts by singing about songs in their age bracket. This movie was ok, stupid but not terribly terrible. Boytown was its name.
The next movie was strange as, I am a sex addict. Its a true story about a man makiing a film about being a sex addict, desiring prostitutes and saying really weird stuff. I need to know more about this movie to form a proper opinion. As a casual movie do not watch it. As a film study, its clever, silly and i hope its not serious, it feels like a mockumentary but it reads like a genuine documentary.
Of course! Its a drama documentary. I remember those. As I said from a media studies perspective its intriguing, the plot and the characters meh not so much but the style and format was interesting.
The last movie was absolute shit, so shit that sarah and aaron both left the room to do other things. 9 dead gay guys, its about men who perform blow jobs for money but arent gay, gay people keep dieing around them or because of them as they try to get a secret stash of money from the first dead gay guy. This movie trys so hard and fails. The moral of the story is repeated 50 times in the last ten minutes. And every other joke or plot point is hammered into the ground so hard that its broken through to the center of the earth where -oh no im not going into that again.
All movies I would never have ever seen ever not even with this 300 movie thing. The only reason i watched them was because they were on as I did tedious things.
Then i finished the night with wedding crashers hich is incredibly obnoxious and unfunny. This is why I hate comedies, they just arent funny anymore. It all comes down to sex jokes. Thats all these movies were.
Ok boytown was a little funny but in a lame way. In a dear god this is lame and only seems funny because sarah is laughing so hard at it.
