I just finished watching Rent. Boy thats a long movie I am way sure its longer then 129 minutes. I think I can answer their question with the ammount of movies I watch. Thats how i divide up my life of a year. I have now watched a gross of movies since working at video ezy. Thats is october 22nd and im only counting movies i havent watched before. Only the new stuff. And repeats do not count. What will it be after a year? do I dare hope for 500? We shall see! That means I need to watch 356 (never seen by me) movies within 6 months and 14 days. Hmm seeing as its taken 6 months to get this far and 4 months i didnt have any obligations weighing me down i dont think thats possible. Maybe 300 will be an easier number to aim for.
Yeah, alright. This is my goal to casually watch 300 movies in a year.
I'm almost half way there in under half when I announce this plan but it is not cheating. Sure I could challenge myself make it 400 but I dont want to hate watching movies. 300 it is.
When I make it to 150 I will post the list of movies watched do far, with little spoilerific blurbs to go with them. Some of the way in the past ones may be a bit vague. Oh well. I'll do my best.
Should I have a rating scale? And where should I post this? Not here in Diaryland because it has minimal traffic and the page will be annoying to update without anyone knowing about it.
Myspace is reserved for whenever the hell i get back to the glorg. Bebo is a lump of blarg. Facebook? Is just as lumpy but appears to be my best case. Hmm will need to discuss it with my people. Actually maybe Diaryland is the better option. I can set up a HTML page type thingy, which people can check if they feel like it.

Anyway I spent 4 hours today on microfilm. Its interesting how much history repeats itself. The UN were looking for WMDs in Iraq back in August 1992. Poor Iraq it seems they never have any weapons of mass destruction and yet thats the first place anyone looks.
Also Batman returns came out then, so far everyone is excited aabout it and the newspaper has been counting it down.
Oh I have to go through a month of NZ heralds (I got August 1992) and report on any media related news. The WMD thing was just something I noticed.
Barbara Kendll won gold at Barcelona Olympics she got to wave the flag at the welcome home ceremony on queen street.
Man old newspapers are interesting.
I see now why hisorical research is done.
