Oh god what a day. It had been planned for 2 weeks now the buffy marathon of all time. Its a pity that Nell has seen hardly any buffy episodes and it was a toddup between, start from the start, key episodes or favourites.
I went with key so she could see the whole angel going evil saga which was easyy enough to do. But then came season 3 and i was planning on doing the faith saga but first had to do the wrap up of season 2s problems and by then it was 3 episodes, and then there were too many storylines that i couldnt just skip most for one key arc. So watching all episodes became the new order. But after 10 buffy episodes we got a bit restless. Plus Nell kept studying in her breaks. Worst marathon watcher ever.
So we chucked on the musical episode. And then the silent movie episode that pauline hates so much. then for a change of scene i wantd to show her angel but Nell wouldnt even give the show a chance and pulled out her laptop to do whatever. Whatever. She was confused at my annoyance which is understandable im just crazy for thinking its rude for someone to agree to watching something and not even bother giving it their full attention. But thats just me i suppose.
After 2 episodes of angel, the second requested by nell but i couldnt tell if she was being patronising in reference to my earlier show of annoyance. She said she wasnt but Im still not sure. anyway after the second episode i called it a night, but the movie on tv was horrible so i chucked in the futurama movie and that sucked us in, THEN i called it a night, and now im on the internet and have been for the past half hour or so. Dear god. What a day.
Im not sure if i can call it fun, it was great to just veg out and watch some great tv. But I have seen it all many times before. I also wouldnt call it a waste of time. Im not sure what it was. Just two people enjoying the many stylings of buffy and friends.
Wont be doing 14 episodes in one day for a looong while.
Now I have assignments to begin and end before this week is out. Should be simple enough.
