You know what I love about working at vide ezy? That its so damn casual. Its a huge adjustment from mcdonalds if youve got time to lean you have time to clean policy. If ive got time to lean then i get to lean baby. Also food is at cost price and can be done by me. As with movies being free.
Sure i dont get any breaks but i still get paid even if we are meant to have one. And can eat and drink behind the counter. and watch movies (g and pg and sometimes m depending on content) and talk and read and text. yes very casual indeed.
What i dont like about working there has nothing to do with working there at all. No after an 8 hour shift of standing on my feet near constantly and then a ten minute bike ride in the rain what do i come home to?
WOOOOH BLOCK PARTY!! that was like sex in a bottle, woooh, (unitelligible gibberish) and people almost coming into my room accidentally.
Fortunately this is the last weekend this should ever happen so complaining about it isnt really that big a thing. Its just annoying. Theyve been 'leaving' aince i got back. Who knows what the mess will look like once theyre gone.
Oh and sarah and aaron are in matamata this weekend.
And just now the powers gone out. great. ok its back on. fucking hell. hooray for laptops. h and now the bass is playing outside my window.
sigh, last night. last night.
wooh they are going. i hear cars starting.
well thats it from me. no work till monday at 5 now, so who knows what ill do tomorrow. maybe another walk if the weather is nice.
